I had the great pleasure of visiting the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry (SIOC), Chinese Academy of Sciences, at the invitation of Prof. Peng Wang.

During my visit, I had the opportunity to give a lecture presenting our recent research and to engage in many stimulating scientific discussions with researchers at SIOC. Visiting such a renowned institute and exchanging ideas with so many outstanding chemists was both a privilege and a highly inspiring experience.

The discussions extended well beyond the lecture itself, providing new perspectives, scientific inspiration, and plenty of ideas to take home.

I am very grateful to Prof. Peng Wang for the invitation, the excellent organization, and the warm hospitality, and to everyone at SIOC who took the time to meet and discuss science with me. A truly memorable and scientifically rewarding visit to Shanghai!
